“El Grito” is a annual celebration of Mexican Independence.

Event Hours:

• Saturday, September 13, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
• Monday, Sept. 15, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. - Parade begins at 11:00 a.m.

Salt Lake Park (Florence Ave. and California Ave.) September 13-14-15 at 3pm

• Grand Parade with celebrities and floats (on the 15^th)

The event will include a Parade Celebration that will run approximately two miles, the parade route will consist of celebrities, and much more, the parade then comes to an end at the entrance of the “El Grito” site.

Here you will find well over 150 Corporate, Food, and Commercial / Retail Sponsors. Along with exciting Arts & Crafts Booths and a huge stage with a concert with live entertainment, including A-List, for the entire family.

El Grito has attracted in past years over 100,000 people in attendance!
